  • Title: Anti-Hazing Compliance Specialist

Serving as a key staff member in Ohio State’s anti-hazing efforts as a member of the Student Life Student Conduct Team, the Anti-Hazing Compliance Specialist ensures compliance with regulatory and quality standards and fosters a culture of integrity with training, education and reporting obligations under Ohio’s anti-hazing statute, Collin’s Law, and the Inter-University Council of Presidents’ Anti-hazing principles compliance with regulatory and quality standards and fosters a culture of integrity. The Specialist has primary responsibility for maintaining annual training for students seeking to join organizations and others as required by Ohio law and stays abreast of relevant pending legislation. The Specialist supports and contributes to the efforts of other Student Life departments, such as Student Activities, Sorority and Fraternity Life and The Student Wellness Center, along with other university departments including Athletics and the Office of Institutional Equity to develop additional hazing prevention education and engagement programs. The Specialist independently leads hazing and other organization misconduct investigations in the Office of Student Life Student Conduct with guidance and support on overall objectives from the Sr. Associate Director and Director of Student Conduct.
